National PTA Honors Reflections 2021-2022 Winners!

The National PTA Reflections program is pleased to invite the public to a celebration of the students who participated in the Reflections program at the national level in Spring 2022. This year’s presentation will feature Jeffco student Madhvi Chittoor (North Arvada Middle School) and recognize all of Jeffco’s participants from last year’s contest. From the National PTA announcement:

In addition to the physical art show running at Red Rocks Community College from Monday, December 12 through Friday, December 16, we are pleased to also include an online gallery of local unit submissions as submitted to Jeffco PTA for judging at the district level.

Thank you to those who participated in the 2022 Reflections program.

PTA Reflections is a nationally acclaimed student recognition program to encourage artistic creativity in the classroom and at home. Students of all grades and abilities may participate and explore the arts based on a theme.

The program offers students the opportunity to create works of art for fun and recognition. Students are encouraged to create and submit works of art in six areas:

Dance Choreography
Film Production
Literature
Music Composition
Photography
Visual Arts

The arts—and the National PTA Reflections program—support student success and serve as a valuable tool for building strong partnerships in your school community. Celebrate arts learning in your school community with Reflections.

Students submit their completed works of art in one or all of the available arts categories: Dance Choreography, Film Production, Literature, Music Composition, Photography, Visual Arts.

Please be sure to fill out an entry form completely, with parental signature, before turning in your entry.

Size limits, including mats:

Visual Arts: 2D: 24 x 30
Visual Arts: 3D: no size limits; see complete rules on the website above.
Photography: 11x14
Literature: 2000 words
Dance Choreography: no more than 5 minutes long
Musical Composition: no more than 5 minutes long
Film Production: no more than 5 minutes long
